As defined in Wikipedia "A parallel import is a non-counterfeit product imported from another country without the permission of the intellectual property owner."

Translated into every-day speak, this means we buy 100% genuine, 100% legitimate products from suppliers overseas. The products are made for markets similar to New Zealand's, simply larger so they can offer better prices. 

Does SupermarketSaver buy parallel imported products? 

Yes we do, a large number of our products are bought from overseas. That's one of the main reasons our prices are lower than any you'll see in the stores. 

Is parallel importing legal? 

Parallel importing has been legal in New Zealand since 1998. Many of the larger stores in New Zealand buy from the same suppliers, we just cut out the middle man. 

Can I trust the products?
