Feel Good Stuff
'Subscribe and Win in March' winners!
Congratulations to Jasbir Singh, Melissa Wood, Sue McColl, Helen Ienraoi and Ian Walker!
These 5 lucky shoppers sunbscribed to the SupermarketSaver newsletter in March, and each won a $50 voucher to use on the website. Sweet!
National Jandal Day
SupermarketSaver is getting behind National Jandal Day! We've blown up our massive Jandal (have a look on Facebook for the incriminating evidence) and will be donating to the awesome cause.
National Jandal Day raises money to support local Surf Lifesavers this summer with...
- Purchasing essential rescue equipment and Surf Lifeguard training
- Extending services to meet the growing need of the community
- Increasing Surf Life Saving's commitment to public education
Movember
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces in New Zealand and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.
SupermarketSaver guru Doug has taken it on himself to represent the company when it comes to facial hair. Way to go Doug!
While many of us here at SupermarketSaver aren't able to grow a Mo' (either because we're women on just un-manly) we're getting behind those staff members who are sporting a slug. (Let's be honest, the view is better from behind - it's a good cause but not a good look!). Looking forward to December...
CookieTime Christmas Cookies
We're doing our bit by eating cookies. Tough job sometimes!
The CookieTime Christmas Cookies make their way into the homes and offices of thousands of Kiwis each year. Part of the proceeds go to the Cookie Time Charitable Trust. The Trust is principal sponsor of the Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand and focuses on two areas: innovation in learning and thinking differently: dyslexia.
To date, Christmas Cookies has raised close to $1.4 million for the Trust, making a significant difference in helping the one in ten New Zealanders who have dyslexia.

SupermarketSaver had just signed up with Courier Post. We reckon they're the best guys to get your buys to you asap. Plus they have a pretty awesome sustainability plan.
The guys at Courier Post have given us a bag for all our Trackingpacks, so we can get them all recycled. They've got some pretty cool business sustainablity aims in place too. Check them out for more details. http://www.courierpost.co.nz/about-us/sustainability/
